Ferry Fares (New Haven – Port Howard route)
Note: These are roundtrip fares. In all cases a single fare is 50% of a return fare.
Gift Vouchers can be purchased from our office in Stanley to any value, number of vehicles and/or passengers, and are generally valid for a year from the date of issue. An ideal present for anyone based on West Falkland, or for someone who is keen on exploring the Falklands!

Children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Domestic vehicle under 6 m £63.20
Domestic vehicle over 6 m £94.70
Trailers under 6 m incl. drawbar £63.20
Trailers under 3 m incl. drawbar £31.55
Motorcycles & Quad Bikes £12.65
Bicycles £6.30
Commercial vehicles £37.90 per metre
A commercial vehicle is any vehicle over3500 kg plated MGVW; the fare is calculated to the nearest metre overall length. There is no charge for the driver of a commercial vehicle.
No cargo service is operated on this route; cross-Sound freight should be arranged with an independent haulier.
Dogs and cats may travel on the ferry but have to remain in the vehicle.
Booking and Payment
In order to travel on the ferry you should make a booking in advance. Bookings should be made before 1600 hrs on the day prior to travel by calling our office on 22300 or emailing
An email confirmation will be sent to you confirming details of your booking. It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure the details of the booking are correct and as expected..
Tickets are not required for travel.
Payment for your crossing should be made in advance where possible. Payment CANNOT be made at the ferry terminal or on the vessel. Payment can only be made by credit card, bank transfer or cheque.
Dangerous Goods
In order to carry Dangerous Goods on the ferry service it is a legal requirement to book those in advance at the time of making your ferry crossing booking, and to fill out an appropriate declaration of the Dangerous Goods you intend to carry.
